SINGLE VINEYARD

Single Vineyard Sierras de Garzón Albariño

Behind this line lies the passion of a Uruguayan family determined to elevate the country’s viticulture to the next level. Since 1999, Familia Deicas has carried out research into the compatibility of soils, climates, and grape varieties before selecting key terroirs across Uruguay and, later, in Argentina. With their specific soil and subsoil characteristics, coastal proximity, and unique climates, these terroirs make it possible to craft wines with a true sense of place.

botella
Albariño Valle de los Manantiales, Sierras de Garzón – Maldonado, Uruguay.
77% aged in stainless steel tanks protected from oxygen; 23% in large oak foudres. Pale yellow with greenish hues.
Notes of hydrocarbons reminiscent of classic Rieslings, alongside hints of melon and fresh herbs. A subtle touch of oak offers a delicate contrast without overshadowing the wine’s primary expression. Marked acidity provides the backbone, with vibrant fruit and herbal flavors at mid-palate. Oak remains discreet, allowing the wine’s natural character to shine through with a long, elegant finish.
Best served between 10°C and 12°C.
