Since 1999, Familia Deicas has carried out extensive research on the compatibility between soils, climates, and grape varieties before selecting several key terroirs across Uruguay—and later, in Argentina. With their distinct soil profiles, subsoil composition, coastal proximity, and microclimates, these terroirs allow for the creation of wines with a true sense of place.
