After working with Perdriel, moving into Valle de Uco was a natural choice to continue interpreting Malbec through our unique vision,\u00bb explains Santiago Deicas, winemaker at Familia Deicas.<\/p>\n<p>The Soul of Valle de Uco in Every Glass<\/p>\n<p>The vineyards of Valle de Uco sit between 1,000 and 1,250 meters above sea level. This altitude ensures moderate daytime temperatures and cool nights, extending the ripening cycle and preserving the grape&#8217;s natural acidity.<\/p>\n<p>The new Familia Deicas Valle de Uco Malbec is crafted with extended maceration to extract maximum fruit expression and structure. It is partially aged in second-use French oak barrels, adding complexity while preserving the fruit\u2019s fresh character.<\/p>\n<p>The result: a wine of deep red color, with intense aromas of black fruits like blackberries and plums, subtle floral notes, and elegant hints of spices and vanilla.
