Project Description
Cru D’exception
Cru D’exception Chardonnay
In the 1990s, the Bordeaux wine scene saw the emergence of “garage wines,” crafted from highly concentrated grapes grown on low-yield micro-terroirs through meticulous green harvesting. Vinified in small tanks or foudres following detailed, tailor-made protocols, these wines were conceived like perfumes—concentrated, complex, and built for aging. In 2000, the Deicas family began producing varietal wines in this same haute couture style. Thus was born the Cru d’Exception line.
