Project Description
Cru D’exception
Cru D’exception Cabernet Sauvignon
In the 1990s, the Bordeaux wine scene gave rise to the “garage wines”—crafted from highly concentrated grapes grown on low-yield micro-terroirs through rigorous green harvesting. These wines were vinified in small tanks or foudres, often inside garages, following meticulous, tailor-made protocols. Conceived like fine perfumes, they were dense, complex, and designed for long aging. In 2000, the Deicas family embraced this “haute couture” winemaking style to create its own varietal wines. Thus was born the Cru d’Exception line.
